Farm Description
The farm is +1100 ha in size. Most of the farm covers a wide valley, bisected by an ephemeral river and peaking on each end on the mountaintops.
This topography creates breathtaking scenery and supports a diversity of vegetation types, which in turn can sustain a high diversity of birds and mammals. The farm is not yet game fenced, however the internal fences are currently being removed and remnant endemic game species are common.
There are a number of opportunities to increase the size of the farm by purchasing neighboring ground or forming a conservancy.
Lodge Description
The lodge overlooks the valley, with the mountain, cliffs and meandering riverbed serving-up a dramatic backdrop. All the buildings are thatched with stone and sneezwood, collected on the farm, used to create key features in and around the lodge.
All the lodge furniture and fitting have been painstakingly sourced from antique stores and the like to allow Origon Pine floors and window frames, yellowwood counters and antique furniture. The overall feel is of a unique blend of the modest early settler and the African safari with all the modern luxuries to boot.
